AI Companion — Activity Helper Privacy Policy

This extension reads your active tab hostname, page title, and a short text excerpt (≤240 characters).

Where data goes: Only to the AI Companion desktop app on your machine at 127.0.0.1:17529. The extension does not send data to any remote server.

What we do not collect: Passwords, form fields, full URLs, or browsing history sent to the internet.

Local storage: A random instance ID is stored in extension storage to identify this browser profile.

Third parties: The extension itself shares nothing online. The separate desktop app may use your configured AI provider at session end — see the desktop app privacy policy.
