AID Story Helper — Privacy Policy
1. Data Storage and Control AID Story Helper is an offline-first browser extension. All adventure states, character cards, thought logs, and settings are stored locally on the user's device using browser IndexedDB storage.
2. Third-Party API Integrations The extension only transmits story details directly to the AI Dungeon GraphQL endpoint (to synchronize story cards in-game) and to the user's self-configured AI provider endpoints (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, or a local Ollama instance) to generate completion text.
3. Data Collection We do not collect, store, track, sell, or transmit any user data, story text, or telemetry. Your data belongs entirely to you and never leaves your local machine except to communicate with your active AI Dungeon game session or AI LLM providers that you have explicitly authenticated by filling in API keys for.
