What this extension does. AI Page Translate lets you translate the text of a
web page (or a selected portion) using an AI provider you choose — Google Gemini,
OpenAI, or Anthropic Claude — with an API key that you supply.

Data stored on your device. Your API key(s), chosen provider, model name, and
last-used target language are stored locally in your browser using the browser's
extension storage (storage.local). This information never leaves your browser
except as described below, and the developer has no access to it.

Data sent to third parties. When you click Translate (full page) or translate a
selection, the visible text of that page or selection is sent directly from your
browser to the AI provider you selected, using your API key, so it can be
translated. No page content is sent to the developer or any other server. Your use
of each provider is governed by that provider's own privacy policy:

Data the developer collects. None. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no
developer-operated server. The extension makes network requests only to the AI
provider API you configure.

Permissions. The extension requests access to page content (to read and replace
text for translation) and to the three AI provider domains (to send translation
requests). It does not access browsing history, cookies, or data on sites beyond the
page you actively translate.
