Data Storage Architecture
Events and settings are kept strictly on your device using the following methods:

browser.storage.local: Stores events, reminders, projects, and settings.
localStorage: Stores lightweight preferences (e.g., shortcuts enabled, timer collapsed).
No data is written to cookies or any external database.
