Privacy Policy

Currency Converter is designed to work without accounts, tracking, advertising, analytics, or user profiling.

Data Stored Locally

The extension stores these settings in the browser's local extension storage:

• selected currencies
• base currency
• theme
• language
• active tab
• chart settings
• last cached exchange rates

This data stays on the user's device and is not sent to the developer.

Data Sent To Third Parties

The extension uses the Frankfurter API at https://api.frankfurter.dev/ to load exchange rates, currency names, and historical chart data.

Requests to Frankfurter may include:

• currency codes, such as USD, EUR, or JPY
• date ranges used for history charts

The extension does not send entered conversion amounts, browsing history, visited websites, personal identifiers, account data, or page content to Frankfurter or to the developer.

As with any web request, Frankfurter may receive standard technical request metadata such as IP address and user agent. See Frankfurter's own documentation and policies for how that service handles requests.

Data Collection Declaration

The extension does not collect or transmit personal data for storage or processing by the developer.
