About this extension

Gloam gives the Claude Design tool (claude.ai/design) a dark theme that matches Claude's own warm-charcoal palette — while leaving the design preview you're working on pixel-for-pixel untouched.

What it does:

Darkens only the interface — chat, header, tabs, cards and toolbars. The cross-origin design preview is never modified.
Value-based, not selector-based — it remaps the page's own colors, so it keeps working across Claude's frequent UI updates.
One-click toggle from the toolbar. Turn it off and the page is left exactly as it was.

Privacy: the only permission requested is "storage", used solely to remember the on/off state. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere.

All source is plain, unminified JS/CSS — no build step, no bundler, no remote or eval'd code.
The only requested permission is "storage" (persists the toolbar on/off toggle).
Runs only on https://claude.ai/design* and recolors the page's own CSS by value.
The cross-origin design-preview iframe is never modified.
