Privacy policy for Homebuyer Scout
Homebuyer Scout by anteros
Homebuyer Scout stores saved home searches, destinations, selected tabs, and comparison choices locally in Firefox extension storage.
When you analyze an address, Homebuyer Scout sends the home and destination addresses you enter to the U.S. Census Geocoder to obtain coordinates. If you enter a compound Plus Code, Homebuyer Scout may send the ZIP code to Census TIGERweb to estimate a nearby ZIP centroid. Homebuyer Scout sends the geocoded home coordinates to FEMA's public National Flood Hazard Layer service to look up mapped flood-zone information.
This data is used only to provide address analysis, destination distance comparison, route links, and FEMA flood-zone details.
When you click route or map buttons, Homebuyer Scout opens user-initiated Google Maps or FEMA Map Service Center pages in browser tabs.
Homebuyer Scout does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, remote executable code, account login, or paid services. Homebuyer Scout does not sell personal data.
