About this extension

MediaGrab puts a download button right next to the reply/like/share actions on
each post on x.com (twitter.com). Click it to save the post's media:

Photos in original quality
Videos in the highest available bitrate (MP4)
GIFs as animated GIF and/or MP4

Everything runs locally in your browser. MediaGrab has no server, collects no
data, and sends nothing to anyone. See the privacy policy for details.

This is a maintained, cleaned‑up fork of the "Twitter Media Assist" project (MIT licensed).

Required permissions:

Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
Access browser tabs
Access your data for sites in the x.com domain
Access your data for sites in the twitter.com domain
Access your data for sites in the twimg.com domain
