Latest version
Version 1.0.9

CHANGES IN THIS RELEASE
New Features
- Group Reordering: Tab groups within a category can now be dragged and reordered.
Grab the drag handle (⠿) that appears on the left of a group header and drag it
to a new position. Subgroups can also be reordered within their parent group the
same way.
Improvements
- Active Tab Highlighting in Side Panel B: The currently active tab in each open
browser window is now pinned to the top of its window section with an accent-
colored left border and a "Current Tab" label. When multiple windows are open,
each window independently highlights its own active tab. The active tab remains
visible at the top even when a search filter is applied.
Bug Fixes
- Duplicate New Tab Pages Now Closeable: New tab pages (chrome://newtab/,
about:newtab) were being counted in the duplicate tabs badge but excluded
from the duplicate review modal, causing the modal to report "no duplicates"
even when the badge showed a non-zero count. Duplicate new tab pages are now
detected and included in the review modal so they can be closed like any
other duplicate.Source code released under All Rights Reserved

CHANGES IN THIS RELEASE
New Features
- Keyboard Shortcut: Press Alt+T (Option+T on Mac) to toggle the side
panel open and closed from any page. The shortcut triggers the toolbar
icon action, so it works on both Chrome and Firefox. Users can rebind it
in their browser's extension shortcut settings.
- Import from URL List: Paste a list of URLs (one per line) to save them
as a new group in any category. Accessible via the side panel ⋯ menu →
"Import from URL list". Useful for migrating from other tab managers or
quickly saving a set of links shared by someone else.
- Onboarding and tips: new users are shown an onboarding guide from the start,
and existing users are occasionally shown tips at the bottom left of the new tab
page now and then.
Improvements
- Duplicate Tabs Review: Users are now prompted with a list of duplicate
tabs to review and select which ones to close, instead of duplicates
being closed automatically with no confirmation. This gives users full
control over which duplicate tabs are removed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an error that occurred when a saved tab's favicon was a local
file:// URL (e.g. from a tab opened from the filesystem). These are now
silently ignored and the domain initial is shown instead.Source code released under All Rights Reserved
Version 1.0.6
Released May 8, 2026 - 135.18 KBWorks with firefox 140.0 and laterVersion 1.0.6 brings four new features to TabFlow.
Categories can now have an optional icon — choose from 56 preset emojis or a built-in folder/star icon directly from the category editor. The three default starter categories (Life Admin, Work, Research) come with icons assigned out of the box. Alongside this, a new Export data option has been added to the ··· menu, letting you download all your saved categories, groups, and tabs as a JSON file at any time.
Duplicate tab detection is now proactive: a live badge on the ··· button shows how many duplicate tabs are open, and the same count appears next to the "Close duplicate tabs" option in the menu so you always know before you act. Finally, saved tabs can now be opened without stealing focus — right-click any saved tab and choose Open in background, or hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) while clicking "open all" to send an entire group to the background at once.Source code released under All Rights Reserved
