YouTube Preferred Tracks is a Firefox extension that helps select captions, auto-translation, and audio tracks in your preferred language on YouTube video pages.

You can set the target language in the extension options using language codes such as ja, en, ko, zh-Hans, fr, de, or es. When a video has captions or auto-generated captions in the target language, the extension selects them automatically. If matching captions are not available, it can use YouTube’s auto-translation menu to select the target language.

When a video provides an audio track in the target language, the extension can select that audio track as well.
