About this extension
Tailor your LaTeX resume to any job posting from a Firefox sidebar. Reads the job description off the current tab, rewrites your .tex toward the role — preserving your formatting — and returns a single Overleaf-ready file. Bring your own API.
tAIlor is a sidebar extension that rewrites your LaTeX resume to fit a specific job posting — without inventing experience or breaking your formatting.
How it works
1. Open a job posting in your active tab and click the tAIlor toolbar icon.
2. Upload your resume as one or more .tex files (modular resumes with \input{}are supported and merged into a singular .tex)
3. Add optional instructions (tone, emphasis, length).
4. tAIlor reads the job description from the page automatically — or paste it in manually — and returns a single, Overleaf-ready .tex you can download.
What it does
• Reframes your existing bullets toward the role using the posting's own vocabulary — never fabricates experience, metrics, or skills.
• Preserves your preamble, packages, custom macros, sections, and ordering exactly; only the prose is rewritten.
• Merges multiple .tex files into one document that compiles on its own.
• Aims for a clean one-page layout with full-width bullets.
Models & cost — bring your own key
tAIlor calls a large language model using an API key that YOU provide. You have three options:
1. Add optional instructions (tone, emphasis, length).
2. tAIlor reads the job description from the page automatically
3. paste it in manually
and returns a single, Overleaf-ready .tex you can download.
