WorkSight URL Bridge by Techie Consulting Solutions Inc

WorkSight URL Bridge is a companion extension for the WorkSight productivity platform. It connects your browser to the WorkSight desktop agent, enabling accurate productivity tracking by reporting the active tab's domain and page title on every tab switch or navigation.

HOW IT WORKS: • Detects when you switch tabs or navigate to a new page • Sends the current page domain and title to the WorkSight desktop agent running on your computer • The desktop agent securely syncs this data to your WorkSight account on the server for productivity reports, focus scoring, and activity categorization

FOCUS MODE BLOCKING: • During a WorkSight Focus Session, distracting websites you've configured are automatically blocked • A block page appears with options to end the session early or request a 5-minute override • Already-open tabs on blocked domains are redirected immediately when a session starts • SPA navigations (YouTube, Facebook) are caught and blocked mid-session

WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED: • The domain and page title of the active tab (e.g., "github.com" / "Pull Request #42") • Only the currently focused tab — background tabs are never read • No cookies, passwords, form data, browsing history, or page content is accessed

DATA FLOW: • Extension sends data to the WorkSight desktop agent on your local machine (localhost) • The desktop agent authenticates and syncs data to the WorkSight server (hosted on AWS) • Data is stored in your WorkSight account and used for productivity dashboards, reports, and focus scoring • Only your organization's admins and managers can view aggregated team reports (per your org's privacy settings)
