Lexium Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

What the extension does
The Lexium extension adds Bulgarian spelling, grammar, punctuation and style checking to text fields on the websites you use (Gmail, LinkedIn,
Facebook and others). It is a thin client to the same server as the web app at leksium.com.

What we send and when
Text you check: the contents of a text field are sent to our server only when you click the Lexium button next to that field. No text leaves the
browser without your explicit action.
Authentication: your email and session token are stored in the extension's local storage so you stay signed in. Not shared with third parties.

What we do not do
We do not send your text automatically — only on explicit action.
We do not read page content other than the field you check.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking.
We do not sell or share data with advertisers.
We do not store passwords, financial data, or any site content other than the text you submit for checking.

Why the broad host permission
To detect editable fields on whatever site you write on. The permission is used only for field detection and rendering the in-page UI. Text is
sent to our server solely when you click the Lexium button.

Storage and security
Connections use HTTPS. Submitted text is processed by the language model and not retained long-term for training. Authentication is via Supabase
Auth.
