by Firefox user 12776176, 5 months agoThe last 2 updates (late 2025, early 2026) have broken a lot of basic functionality, and have made this app UNDEPENDABLE and SLOW to login. No longer works correctly on many sites that it did before the last "updates." Please stop making your app far worse with disastrous "updates." Roll back to at least 2 versions ago, and find out what you screwed up, PLEASE.

- Rated 1 out of 5by pineisntpineapple, 2 hours agoSlowed down significantly lately. Even Firefox is reporting that "this extension is slowing us down, want to stop it".

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13396952, 8 hours agoHas been great, I am not sure what happened, but within the last week it seems to be slowing down when I attempt to review code in Gerrit windows.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Asclepius, 14 hours agoCan't keep dealing with this extension's issues. There's always a problem with biometrics. Now, there's an issue where, if Bitwarden is running, Firefox starts to freeze/slow down and gives you a banner advising you to stop it to make Firefox faster. Come on. It's always something.
- Rated 4 out of 5by H0wAway, 14 hours agoFinally (after weeks), version 2026.5.0 fixed the bug that the failure of autofill function.
However, this bug should not have occurred. Perhaps the AI code and incomplete regression testing have affected some originally normal functions - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19967606, 21 hours agoOut of nowhere this extension has began to cause unresponsiveness within the whole browser. Every time I load a new page, Firefox flags it as the culprit.
Great service that I've been happily paying for for years, but this is unacceptable and I will not hesitate to switch to a competitor if it's not resolved promptly. - Rated 5 out of 5by Andrea-FF19967159, a day agoFinally (after weeks 🙄), version 2026.5.0 fixed the bug that prevented the saving of autofill settings.

- Rated 1 out of 5by loutre, 4 days agoImpossible to log in on a self hosted bitwarden account from the add-on since the lastest update, which makes it basically unusable.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19959141, 6 days agoThis add-on began giving a strange error-but-not-really response with Vaultwarden sign-ins for me some weeks ago. Now it’s stopped allowing Vaultwarden sign-ins altogether. Evidently I’ll be accessing Vaultwarden via the browser page from now on. The Bitwarden add-on is dead weight. Removing.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Expmodo, 6 days agoПользуюсь более 6 лет. Основные функции выполняет. В последних версиях починили заполнение в не стандартных полях-регистрах (допустим lostfilm.tv).
P.s в последних обновлениях сломали опцию "убрать контекстное меню" - всегда показывает даже если отключить\включить ;) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17568996, 6 days agoNot really a fan of the new update. The size of the pop-up panel is way bigger for literally no reason (no further info is shown) and the pop-up has a long loading in animation that was not present in previous versions. It is also (for some unknown reason) made more difficult to fill a form on the page, now requiring you to press a tiny "fill" button instead of just clicking on the login you want to fill. There is also a strange bug where as I scroll through my logins the white info-text "Launch Website [Website]" appears in many different locations as I scroll. Terrible update. Will be switching to another service.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Shan Sanear, 6 days agoWhat went wrong with this plugin? For some time now it is so sluggish its not even funny. I can type 4 characters of my password and only first one is being recorded in the UI.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Johnathan Peltier, 9 days agoMichael Sullivan the new owner of Bitwarden was hired on to gut out the company and churn a profit so Bitwarden can be sold to the highest bidder. Find an exit and alternative like VaultWarden as soon as possible.
