It sort of works, but it only restores the layout and not functionality. If that's all you need, grab this extension! If you want functionality back you should know that these are still not working:
- double click for full screen
- scroll volume bar
- < and > for speed down/up
- left/right is still -/+10s in stead of 5
- up/down doesn't change volume
- 0-9 buttons don't jump to 0-90% of the video
