1. Favicons. You have to download them dial by dial. When you have over 1300 bookmarks/dials, this is a daunting task. Jyri Tuomisto's Bookdial extension downloaded all 1300 favicons in just a few seconds. (But it is irremediably outdated and no longer available. K-Ivan's current Visual Bookmarks extension does the same: thousands of favicons in seconds.)
2. Importing bookmarks. When you reimport bookmarks to update/replace existing dials, all previous dial formatting is gone, including all the favicons. All group formatting is also gone. You basically have to start with a clean state all over again.
3. Batch dial formatting. I have found no way to format all the dials as a whole. You have to format them one by one.
4. Batch group formatting. I also have found no way to format all the groups as a whole. You also have to format them one by one (another dauting task if you have over 40 groups.
Other features are absolutely fantastic. For instance, the breadcrumb/group bar is excellent, and being able to open a group just by hovering over it is amazing. And the sheer amout of customization options is great.
I hope you can address these issues. I'm sure it would benefit many users. As a minor incentive, I'm going to sign up for a 1-year pro subcription.
(Have signed up for Pro, and the favicon problem disappeared. Great!) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14904828, a month agoПожалуй самое удобное и управляемое дополнение с диалами в Firefox.

posted 3 months agoHello,
I know, nobody wants to pay subscription, including me.
The price you pay is in big part a donation to the developer (me).
And as you can see on my Patreon, I'm not exactly rich.
I could get a normal programming job and make about 3 times more, but then I would have no time to work on my many extensions.
And I would rather be poor and useful to ordinary people than be rich and useful to some big corporation. At least that's what I thought when I quit my job 10 years ago. I'm not sure it was a good move anymore...
I'm sorry for the bad news :(

- Rated 5 out of 5by Desert Catmom, 5 months agoWorks smoothly and has a lot of customization. So far this is the BEST speed-dial add-on I have found. Works well with Firefox. Many thanks to the developer for creating this. I subscribed to the PRO version to help support this work.

- Rated 5 out of 5by ssdogdu, 7 months agoThe dial dimensions are too large. I gave 4 stars but I would give 5 stars if it was possible to resize dials and adjust how many dials should be in a row.
Edit: Yep, did it! Thanks. Will change to 5 stars of course.Developer response

posted a year agoHello,
Group Speed Dial version 26.0 is still compatible with Firefox ESR 115, you can install it from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/groupspeeddial/versions/
(click the "[Download file](https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/4348052/groupspeeddial-26.0.xpi)" below the change log)
Sadly, I can no longer bring back support in the current version of my addon due to missing JavaScript features in Firefox ESR 115. Even the newer ESR 128 is getting too old and in a few months will be replaced with Firefox ESR 140.
But the version 26.0 should work fine.
