About this extension
Find saveable video candidates on supported pages and save them with the official local helper.
Video Saver Helper is a Firefox extension for users who search for a practical video saver, supported video downloader, MP4 saver, HLS VOD saver, DASH VOD saver, or a browser workflow that can hand video saving to a local helper. It works together with VideoLatch Helper so the browser extension can detect candidates and the official helper can assist with the saving process.
Open a supported video page, launch the extension, and it checks the current page for saveable video candidates. After saving starts, you can review progress, destination folder, and saved file name. The workflow is designed for users who want a clearer way to save videos they are allowed to keep, without guessing which file is being processed.
Key features
Important limitations
Paid streams, login-restricted or private content, and live streams are not supported. Compatibility can vary by site, login state, region, page structure, and video delivery method.
Use Video Saver Helper only for videos you have permission to save, or videos the rights holder has allowed you to save. Please follow copyright rules, each website's terms of use, and local laws.
